with the ruins of the castle and the site of the old fort,
shops, restaurants, museums and leisure centres.
There is much to see & do in Lochaber.

Whilst in the area travel up Anoch Mor on the Gondola cable
car and visit the Snowgoose restaurant or simply admire
the views.

A pleasant day out can be spent travelling on the Jacobite
Steam train from Fort William to the fishing port of Mallaig
and back. Made famous by Harry Potter films, this journey
is a truly magical experience with views of Robert McAlpine's
concrete viaducts at Glenfinnan and Loch Nan Uamh, White
Sands of Morar and all points in between.

A pleasant short trip takes you to Glenfinnan and the monument
to Bonnie Prince Charlie. Visit the National Trust Centre
opposite the monument for full information and guides. Also
at Glenfinnan you will find the Railway Museum and nearest 2 hotels serving bar and restaurant meals.
